Hi everyone. I have a snowy scene card featuring the new Log Cabin Scene die set.
Die cut the Log Cbain Scene die set from white card stock. Ink blend everything but the lights using Distress inks in Vintage Photo, Gathered Twigs, and Walnut Stain for the cabin and window frame. Ink blend the wreath with Bundled Sage. Use alcohol markers in yellow, blue, red, green, and black to color the lights. Add Glossy Accents to the lights. Die cut the bow from Cherry Red paper. Ink blend using Aged Mahogany. Use to White Heat and Fluff and heat to fluff up to the roof and window. Trim a piece of white card stock to fit behind the window and included with Squeezed Lemonade and Wild Honey. Glue together using the envelope as the guide but add the lights under the roof.
Die cut the Evergreen Tree Stand from white card stock. Ink blend these and the trees from the Log Cabin die sets using Rustic Wilderness and Forest Moss. Use to White Heat and Fluff and heat to fluff up to the tops of the trees. Die cut the one of the snowmen from the Stylish Snowmen Trio from white and Cherry Red card stock. Ink blend the arms with Gathered Twigs. Color the eyes with a black marker. Color the nose with a orange marker. Ink blend the hat and scarf using Aged Mahogany. Adhere together using the envelope as a guide.
Ink blend an A2 white panel using Distress Ink in Tumbled Glass. Use a sea sponge and lightly pounce with Stormy Sky. Fussy cut a hill into a A2 white panel about 2/3 of the way down. Adhere to a white A2 size card using foam tape. Adhere the Evergreen Tree Stand behind the hill. Adhere the log cabin to the lower left corner. Add the Sending Joy Timeless Scrip due cut from Cherry Red paper to the roof. Adhere the remaining trees and the snow man. Water down white gesso and splatter on the card for snowy effect.
