Hello, Stampers! Welcome back to the Memory Box Design Team's blog, Outside the Box! Today's card features a new die, Springtime Bunnies. I had the best time making this little vignette! S U P P L…
I employed my favorite technique which involves Ranger Distress inks and Perfect Pearls. It’s very hard to see the general shimmery goodness of this card in a photo, so I zoomed in very close (see second photo) to try to capture the shimmer. You can see it but still not like in person!
It’s that time of the year… Valentine’s Day is looming, yes, indeedie! I’m a bit of a sucker for old-fashioned valentines with the faded silk ribbons, etc., so I decided to make a card with one of the new dies, Ferrand Heart, and lots of muted, inky goodness courtesy of Distress ink and Copics.
If you recall, we Design Team members were each sent a box of goodies from the terrific people at Imagine Crafts, and I’ve been playing with mine regularly. My favorite inks thus far are the Encore Ultimate Metallics and the Delicata pads. The only thing I can complain about is that I can’t capture their incredible richness in a photograph (but I suspect that speaks to my mediocre photography skills and not the products – lol).
If you are in or near the Indianapolis, Indiana, area, I’m teaching a tag class featuring several of the Memory Box 2014 Holiday release dies.

If you don’t have silver shimmer cardstock, apply Delicata Shimmery Silver ink directly to the paper and heat set – it’s identical to shimmer paper.
The Tinsel Rope die is a great tree trim (especially if you remove half of each star burst!)
Hello, Stampers! I'm afraid I'm still without my glasses, so if anything is crooked, that's why! Today's card features the Lindeman Snowflake die and snowflakes cut from the Merry Christmas Tidings die and the new…
Gently remove the die. (By leaving the die cut in the die while you adhere it to the card, you will have perfect placement of the snowflake’s floating circle.)
