Looking for more Halloween cards? It’s less than seven weeks away – that’s still plenty of time to create a few like today’s designs. Jean Okimoto here – let’s get started…
- Spooky Background Stamp G1996
- Grand Oak Tree Die 98462
- Ghost Trio Die Set 98376
- Licorice Notecard
- Jack O Lantern Envelope
- Jack O Lantern and Kraft Notecards (for stamping and diecutting)
I love background stamps – especially ones like this, with great typestyles and a chalkboard effect. Place your cardstock on the Craft Mat by Imagine Crafts to create a cushiony, non-slip stamping surface – then stamp Spooky Background with Memento Luxe Tuxedo Black Pigment Ink. Emboss it with detail black powder for a sharp contrast against the Licorice Notecard.
Trim the bottom and some of the lower branches to transform the stately Grand Oak Tree into something a little spookier. Tuck a pair from the Ghost Trio set behind the tree and add contrasting green sequins.

Here’s another Halloween idea for you…creepy crawly spiders have taken over an abandoned house! It was inspired by our garage-cleaning and cobweb-vacuuming afternoon a few days ago. EEK!!

- Haunted Webs Die 99007
- Village House Die 98594
- Scary Spiders Die Set 98704
- Journey Collage Stamp G1733
- Happy Halloween Stamp B2004
- Memento Gray Flannel Dye Inkpad
- Memento Luxe Tuxedo Black Inkpad
