As I write this post, I'm celebrating the summer solstice on a very rainy day in Maine. It has been raining pretty steadily for more than twelve hours now. We have really needed the rain, so I am grateful for it as are the flowers and vegetable plants in my gardens.
This card seemed appropriate for the day–a mixture of sun and clouds marking the beginning of summer.

MATERIALS USED:
- Stitched Clouds die 30053; Blueberry Distressed Dots paper DS77885
- Sketchy Rings die 99149; white cardstock
- "shine" stamp from Words to Live By CL5154; VersaFine Onyx Black ink
- 2" punch for the sun tucked behind the rings; Squash Distressed Dots paper DS77913
- Sage Notecard
- glue pen, tape runner, pop-dots

Happy Summer and Happy Crafting!

That is so cool and very clever way of using these dies, Love it!! Glad you are finally getting rain you need, we have more than we need here in Southern Illinois!
