Happy Birthday
by Donna

Hello everyone!

Welcome to the Memory Box Spring Blog Blitz!  I hope you've been enjoying the new products being showcased on the blog.  There are so many great dies in this release that it was hard to pick which ones to use for my post. I finally settled on three of my favorites, and this is the card I made using those:

For this card start with white cardstock and die cut the Chrysanthemum Collage on the right side of the card front.  Sponge Mowed Lawn and Peacock Feathers Distress ink across the cardstock and mist lightly with water to blend the inks. Once the cardstock is dry, spatter the background with black ink.  Die cut the Blooming Chrysanthemum from white cardstock and glue on the left side of the prepared cardstock.  The word "Happy" was die cut from white cardstock using the Happy Birthday Tiles.  Mount the word "Happy" on a strip of black cardstock.  Stamp and emboss the word "Birthday" on black cardstock.  The word birthday came from a Poppystamps set called "Into the Words".  To finish the card, adhere the card front to a piece of white cardstock and glue that to a black card base.  Embellish the card front with black twine and black epoxy accents.

If you would like a chance to win the Blooming Chrysanthemum Die, leave a comment on this post by Sunday April 17th at 11:59 pm EST.  Winners will be announced on the Outside the Box blog on Monday, April 18th.

Good Luck!

Thanks for stopping by today!
