Be Jolly Shaker Card

Hello and Welcome! It's Isha with you today. Are you enjoying the new Holiday release products? They are AWESOME isn't it? I just started playing with them and it's so difficult to stop.  Have you started creating your Christmas cards already? We have a wide range of dies and not to forget the adorable stamps too 🙂

So, for today's card I used the All Heart Snowman as my main focal image and created a shaker card with it. FUN!!!

I started by making a square top fold card. I then sponged it using distress oxide inks for an Ombrè effect. Once I was happy with the background, I flicked some gold color shine onto it and let it dry. Meanwhile, I die-cut the dainty circle frame using the Wrapped Holly Circle Frame die and applied Tsukineko Delicata gold ink to it to match it with the gold splatters.

Now I die-cut the All Heart Snowman, I colored the nose and the heart using copic markers and kept them aside. I then die-cut this piece in a circle to fit in behind the circle frame.

Now I adhered the acetate piece onto the back side of this focal piece. I adhered 3D foam tape onto the acetate and made sure not to leave any gaps in between so the shaker materiel stays inside the 3d foam well. Now I filled the shaker area using chunky glitter and some iridescent stars. I closed this using another piece of acetate.

Now I adhered this piece to the cardbase and added the circle frame to it. Finally, I stamped the sentiment using the black ink and adhered the colored heart and the nose.
