Greetings friends. I hope that you are having a wonderful weekend. I wanted to share a Valentine to you, but honestly, it can be used year-round.
To make the card, I started by cutting out the big heart:
The heart cuts out a solid white heart (which I will save for another card). It also leaves a stitched heart decoration that makes an excellent frame for the rest of the card.
I placed a piece of vellum behind the open heart:
Next, I cut out a leafy heart and colored it with a BG45 Copic marker:
To add a bit more interest, I colored part of each leaf with a BG49 Copic marker:
To finish the card, I glued the leafy heart on top of the vellum heart and added my Love sentiment:
