Patterned Papers and the new Garden Party Release
by Laura Fulcher

Greetings friends.  Memory Box has a brand new release called Garden Party, and it has lots of dies, washi tape, embossing folders and stamps that focus on flowers and celebrations.  Today I wanted to focus on the latest 6″ x 6″ paper pack:

I absolutely love the patterns and colors in this pack.  One of the things I like about the 6″ x 6″ packs is that the patterns are smaller and specifically scaled to look good on cards.

For my tulip card, I used several patterns from the pack and paired them with the Tulip Trio Frame dies.  I would also like to point out a feature of the new Memory Box dies that I really like…..they are already cut out for you!  By that, I mean that you don’t have to use your wire cutters to cut the dies apart from each other and then use a file to file down the little metal nubs that are left.  Here is a close up of the dies in the pack:

I really hate cutting frames apart, so I was very happy to not have to cut these.

Once I paper pieced my card, I added a sentiment and then added a little R20 and R22 Copic marker to the tulip petals to add some dimension:

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
