Merry Christmas Card
by Donna Sledzik

Good morning everyone.  Today I have a easy card featuring more of the new dies from the Christmas release.

To make this card I started with a piece of watercolor cardstock and loosely painted a background using Tumbled Glass and Broken China Distress Oxide Ink.  When it was dry I spattered white ink on the background to look like snow.

Next I die cut the sled from silver foil paper and glued it to a strip of vellum paper. I die cut the words Merry Christmas from black cardstock and adhered this to the same strip of vellum. I wrapped the vellum strip around the watercolored background and glued it to the back of the paper.

Next I glued the card front to a black cardstock mat and used foam tape to adhere it to a white card base.

On a strip of black cardstock I stamped the sentiment and white heat embossed it.  I used foam tape to adhere it to my card.

To finish the card I added a snowflake embellishment to the sentiment strip.

That’s it for today!  Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
