Hello Card
by Donna Sledzik

Good morning everyone!  Today I have a quick and easy card for you using the new stamp set, Elegant Succulent Sentiments, and the Simon Hurley stamping foam.

To make this card, I placed the foam stamping block on my work surface and heated it with my heat tool.  Once the block was hot I pressed it on my stamp.

Next, I rubbed the stamping block with ink, misted it lightly with water and stamped it on watercolor paper.

Because there was still ink on the stamping block, I remisted it and stamped it again.  I was able to do this 4 times before I ran out on ink on my stamping block.  What a quick and easy way to make multiply backgrounds!

Simon Hurley has many videos on YouTube using the stamping block and I urge you to check them out.

I used the first stamped image and die cut it with the largest Wrapped Stitch Rectangle die.  Next I used foam tape, glued it to a blue cardstock mat and then adhered it to a white card base.

I die cut the word hello from white cardstock and glued it to a strip of green cardstock.  I inked the edges of the green cardstock with the Later Gator ink.

Finally, I added some white epoxy dots to finish the card.

Thanks for stopping by today and have a great weekend!
