When I looked at the Gilded Sleigh 94609 I decided it was the perfect die to use with the beautiful Memory Box Glitter Pad papers. These are the four cards I made.
They are all basically constructed in the same way, so let's look at one up close and the procedures I used.
- Begin with a white notecard and cover the front with one of the plaid papers from PP1018 WOODSY PLAID.
- Die cut the three pieces of the GILDED SLEIGH 94609 from various glitter papers. I used ones from GP1007 GLITZY GLITTER PAD, GP1006 FESTIVE GLITTER PAD, and GP1008 MAJESTIC HUES GLITTER PAD. For this first sleigh I used the same gold for the three pieces but mixed colors on the other sleigh cards.
- Adhere the sleigh to the front of the card. I used a glue pen and Scor-Tape.
- Die cut the HOLLY BUNDLE 94610 from glitter paper. I used gold and greens. Stick them together with Glue Dots and add to the sleigh with Scor-Tape. I find that Scor-Tape works well when bonding anything to glitter paper.
- Add three red berries from either CRY102 CHRISTMAS FAIRY CRYSTALS or DDP101 CHRISTMAS FAIRY DEWDROPS.
- For this card I used just the fine lettering from LET IT SNOW POSH SCRIPT 94583 cut from the same gold glitter paper. On the other cards I also used the backing outline die cut in the same glitter paper as the sleigh and the fine lettering in either gold or red to coordinate with each card.
- For the inside of the card I cut the HORSE AND SLEIGH 94596 from glitter paper scraps.
