Happy Easter
by Trina Pham

Hello everyone.  For those who are celebrating, Easter weekend begins tomorrow and the Easter bunny is busy hiding… hiding those eggs for the Easter egg hunt that is! 😂*lol*   This was the fun idea behind the hiding bunny on my card today.

Started by die cutting the flowers, foliage and bunny ears (dies are listed at the end) from alcohol marker-friendly cardstock, then colored in with Copic Sketch markers.

purples – BV0000, BV000, BV01, BV04
yellows – Y000, Y13, Y17
pinks – RV000, RV00, 0
greens – G20, YG03, YG07, YG17, YG67
blues – BG70, BG72

The Knotted Circle Wreath was die cut twice next from Kraft woodgrain paper.  Gathered Twigs distress ink (DI) was then applied to them randomly with a foam blending tool to give variation and a rustic look.  To aid in shaping, a circle was die cut from Bristol paper using a Circle Basics die.   Salty Ocean, Tumbled Glass and Mowed Lawn DIs were blended onto it with blender brushes to create the background.   The sentiment from Springtime Typewriter was then white heat embossed onto black cardstock before assembling the card on a white woodgrain panel that was scored every 1”.

If the butterfly seems a bit out of place, that is because it was needed to cover up a marking. 😆   Kept it subtle by die cutting it from blue Vintage Pastel Mirror paper.   Pastel Jewels were added to the flower centers to finish.

Wishing all those who are celebrating a happy Easter.  Thank you for joining me today.   Have a wonderful day.
