Charlotte Blooms and Leaves
by Anne Thompson

Here's a card perfect for any occasion and it features Charlotte Blooms and Leaves.

to make this card

  • die cut five sets of the leaves from CHARLOTTE BLOOMS AND LEAVES 94645 using one of the green cardstock papers from the LUSH GREEN COLLECTION SP1003
  • die cut three sets of the 3-part flowers from CHARLOTTE BLOOMS AND LEAVES 94645 using one of the yellow cardstock papers from the SUNNY ORANGE COLLECTION SP1002

  • use fingertip daubers to add inks to the diecuts–VersaFine Clair Rain Forest (green) to the leaves and VersaFine Clair Tulip Red to the flowers

  • cut a piece of green plaid paper 4 X 5 1/4 from the WOODSY PLAID PP1018 paper pad and add it to the front of a white notecard

  • assemble the 3-part flowers and add them to the front of the notecard
  • tuck the leaves under the flower edges
  • add the largest clear FAIRY DROPS DRP101 to the Charlotte Blooms centers and add a few of the medium-sized clear Fairy Drops on the plaid paper

That's it!

I made a second all-occasion card with a top-fold using the Charlotte Blooms and Leaves.  I used the same yellow and green cardstock papers, a green plaid from MADRAS PLAID BLUE AND VIOLET PP1014, and amber crystals from the AUTUMN FAIRY CRYSTALS CRY101.  I used the barrel of a stylus to curl some of the Charlotte Blooms petals under for added dimension.

Here's a list in one place of all the materials used.

  • CHARLOTTE BLOOMS AND LEAVES 94645
  • LUSH GREEN COLLECTION SP1003
  • SUNNY ORANGE COLLECTION SP1002
  • VersaFine Clair Rain Forest (green) ink
  • VersaFine Clair Tulip Red ink
  • WOODSY PLAID PP1018 paper pad
  • FAIRY DROPS DRP101
  • MADRAS PLAID BLUE AND VIOLET PP1014 paper pad
  • AUTUMN FAIRY CRYSTALS CRY101

There's a center "rounded cone" die for the flowers that I didn't use…it looks similar to the center on a coneflower/Echinacea.  I hope the next flowers I make using the Charlotte Blooms and Leaves will look more like these:

Happy Crafting!
