Greetings friends. I have an April birthday card I needed to make, so I thought I would combine a birthday message along with some of the new magnolia dies.
I selected the Magnolia Blossom Trio for the card. You can assemble it any way you want. I used every piece from the die set, but you could just as easily pick and choose how many layers you want. This was for a birthday card, so I wanted to be as elaborate as possible!
To assemble the pieces of the flowers, I used the envelope of the dies as a reference for how to color and assemble the various pieces. You can also use the Memory Box website as a reference point. Here is a link to the flowers on the website.
To color the flowers, I used my Copic airbrush to add a splash of color. You could also sponge the pieces with pink ink. For the background, I used one of the new 3D embossing folders for extra dimension. Here is a close up of the background and the flowers:
