This has been a week of experimenting with the newest products from the June Gracious Floral Collection. I've learned a lot in the process as I've tried different approaches to using the embossing folder, stamp set, stencils, and dies in various combinations. Here is one of the finished cards I liked the best.

For this card I used the GRACIOUS FLORAL 3D EMBOSSING FOLDER EF1026 on black card stock. I used a Koh-I-Noor white pencil laid on its side to lightly go over the embossed image to highlight the raised places. I then used the coordinating die to cut it out, holding it in place with Washi tape as I ran it through my machine.

I cut a piece of black card stock 5 1/4 X 4 and added that to the front of a white side-fold note card. On top of that I added a piece of white/gold swirly paper cut 5 X 3 3/4 from the MAGNOLIA GROVE 6X6 PACK PP1022. I used three large dimensional foam dots to secure the Gracious Floral cut-out to the card front.
I also like this as a top-fold card.

"It's not easy being green" is the theme for a green color challenge this month on the Outside the Box blog. That will be my challenge as well for three more posts this month. Hmmm…I wonder what I will create.
Happy Crafting!

I really like the effects of the white pencil against the black embossed images.
