Combine layered poinsettias, 3D embossing, mirror cardstock and glitter to create a holiday card in winter pastels. Shimmery pink and glittery yellow and green pop on a crisp white matte background. Hi, Jean here with a mix of new designs from our Christmas 2023 Collection.
Cut heavy white cardstock with the largest A2 Rectangle Frames die. Spritz both sides of the rectangle with a light mist of water. Emboss it with the new Poinsettia Corner 3D Embossing Folder. Two simple poinsettia dies are included with the embossing folder. Here’s a photo of the embossed design from our website – and a link to additional details.
Cut white cardstock with the 2-¼” wide A2 Rectangle Frames Die and attach it to the 3D embossed background.
Cut 2 sets of the Small Poinsettia Layers petals from the pink Vintage Pastel Mirror Pad 6×6 – you’ll have some extras for another project. Cut the scalloped centers from the green Graceful Garden Glitter Pack 6×6. Cut the smaller center from the pale yellow Graceful Garden sheet. Assemble the poinsettias.
Cut Classic Pine Needle Sprigs from light green cardstock.
Attach the diecuts to the small rectangle, then to the 3D background. Hope you’ll try this design in traditional holiday colors too!
