Happy Thursday everyone! I have another Birthday card for you today using products from the new 2024 Birthday Wishes release.
I began by ink blending a panel of white cardstock and embossing it with the Party Time 3D embossing folder. You want to make sure the the images are debossed on the inked side.
Next I used a small brayer to apply gold ink over the entire panel. The gold ink alone did not make the background colors pop, so I used black ink and applied it over the gold ink. When it dried it had a light black metallic color.
I adhered the background to a turquoise cardstock mat and glued it to a white card base.
I die cut the shadow for the sentiment with black cardstock and the words from gold metallic cardstock. I glued the words to the black shadow die and used foam tape to adhere it to the card.
