Hi everyone. I have an easy 3D embossing technique that is just stunning with the Breezy Bouquet folder. I had so much fun I made several cards and have 4 of the cards I made. It it so easy and stunning that other design team members created the similar cards using the this technique. I have some different layers added to mine along with added die cuts to enhance the card. Technique:
Take the Breezy Bouquet 3D embossing folder and rub pigment ink on the flat surface of the side that is embossed. Lightly mist a A2 size white card with water and put in the folder and run through the die cut machine. I chose pastels ink pads from Fresh Ink but did a darker color from Versafine Clare, Chanti. The darker one turned out to be my favorite.
For 2 of the backgrounds I decided to use a metallic ink pad from Tsukineko too lightly rub on the raised areas. On the Chanti background I used a red metallic and for the light blue I used silver. For all of them I did mist with a metallic spray. For the lighter colors I used my homemade spray using the Contact Craft Intense Liquid Sparkle Bases of silver or gold in a mister. For the darker background I used Distress Mica Stain in Decay.
Next I added a sentiment to each card. For the black stamped sentiment I used the new Birthday Chic clear stamp set and die. For the Wonderful I used the matching Breezy Bouquet stamp/die, the was heat embossed with gold. The Hello was the Hellow Marker Script die. For the last card I used a black Happy Birthday Foil Greeting Tab. I did trim down the lighter backgrounds to 4″x5 1/4′ and but them on a A2 size white card. For the darker card I used the Black Glossy Paper to create a frame with the Rectangle Basics set. I also added butterflies or a bird. For the butterflied I used Exquisite Butterflies and the bird was Bird Blooms dies. I colored them with matching ink used in the background.
