Happy 2025! Celebrate and welcome the New Year with our Birthday Wishes Collection of fabulous dies, stencils, embossing folders and clear stamp sets. Party designs, big and little flowers, birds, balloons, cover plates and greetings – ready for special occasions and everyday-greetings. Hi, Jean here with the first of many designs we’ll be sharing as we introduce our latest release.
Cut the lavender and blue Anemone Grove 6×6 with the 3.5″ wide Nested Globes die. It’s a beautiful floral print – I’m using some of the delicate stems as strings for the new Celebration Balloons.
Cut Celebration Balloons from a turquoise 6×6 in the Glitzy Glitter Pad – cut 2 of the medium-sized balloon. Attach them to the globe background.
Attach an adhesive label sheet (or sticker sheet) to aqua felt to stabilize the felt and prevent adhesives from saturating it. Cut the large Bluebird Prince base and the head overlay. Cut the beak background and legs from a yellow-orange 6×6 in the Sunrise Collection. Color the eye area with a black marker. Color the legs with a tan marker. Attach those diecuts behind the base section.
Cut the wings from a turquoise Rainbow Reflections 6×6. Cut the crown from a gold Rainbow Reflections 6×6. Assemble the bird.
Cut the detailed Happy Birthday Marker Script from a light blue 6×6 in the Lagoon Collection. Attach ScorTape over a dark teal Lagoon Collection 6×6 and cut the greeting background. Attach the detailed overlay to the background, then cover it with detail clear embossing powder. Tap off the excess powder and heat-emboss it to adhere the pieces and create a glossy, textured greeting…in one easy step! Save the individual letters for another project.
Attach the diecuts to a white A6 card (6.25″ x 4.5″) – use a double layer of foam tape behind the crownd. Cut an A6-sized piece of cardstock to protect the card front for mailing.
