Hello there. It’s Theary back on the blog again. Today, I am sharing a happy birthday-themed card using the beautiful Cherish Hearts from the Peony Release.

I trimmed down woodgrain cardstock to 4 inches by 5.25 inches for my background.
I die-cut Cherish Hearts out of several colors of cardstock. I kept the tiny negative hearts from each cut to use as embellishments on my card design.

I used liquid adhesive and adhered the hearts over the woodgrain cardstock in no particular order. I wanted to ensure I didn’t adhere to the same-colored hearts next to each other. I then trimmed down anything that was hanging off the edge of the card panel.
Then, I wrapped a piece of twine around the card panel and tied a knot over one of the cherished hearts. I topped the knot off with a Happy Birthday Foil Greeting White Circle Tab.
I adhered it to a top folding card base in white. And that is it!
I hope you enjoy this tutorial and have time to craft today.
