Hi everyone! Today’s card is a winter card featuring the Holiday Robin die set, along with the beautifully colored card stocks.
Die cut the largest Fan Stitched Scalloped Square die from Cream Woodgrain card stock and a 2nd one to use later. Ink blend the edges with Distress Ink Vintage photo, gradually getting lighter towards the center. Create an square card base by trim the Cherry Red paper to 4 1/4″ x 8 1/2″. Then score along the longer edge at 4 1/4″ to create the card. Adhere the ink blended square die cut to the center of the front of the card and the white square die cut on the instead of the card. This is to create a space to write your personal message.
Use the Pine and Berries Sprigs to die cut the pine needles from a dark green paper from the Greenery pad and the berries from white card stock. Ink blend the berries branch using Distress Ink Aged Mahogany and Ground Espresso. Ink blend the berries with Lumberjack Plaid and Aged Mahogany. Add Glossy Accents to the berries. Let fully dry. Another trick is to add the Glossy Accents after the card is done and set aside to dry.
Die cut the Holiday Robin’s body and hat trim from white card stock and ink blend using Distress Vintage Photo, Aged Mahogany and Ground Espresso. Die cut the hat and scarf from Cherry Red and Cranberry paper. Ink blend the edges with Aged Mahogany. Adhere together using the envelope as a guide.
Adhere the branches to the bottom right hand corner and adhere the berry branches on top. Trim a Warm Wishes from the Holiday Wishes Foil Greetings Black tab an adhere on top of the berries. Adhere the robin appearing as if it is standing on the pine needles.
