Send heartfelt caring thoughts with a soft pink Elegant Peony Blossom on a Wildflower Field background. Add words of support and condolence from the With Sympathy Clear Stamps Set. Hi, Jean here with little inspiration from our Summer Meadow release for June’s Sympathy Cards Challenge.

Stamp Wildflower Field on light pink cardstock using a well-inked Nocturne VersaFine Clair inkpad. Quickly heat-emboss it with detail clear powder. Cut the cooled design with the largest Double Stitch Happy Heart Cut Out die. The stitched details are the heart’s outline – we’re using the solid interior diecut.
Cut Elegant Peony Blossom from slightly darker pink cardstock. Cut the stamens from Black Glossy Paper (cardstock). Cut the narrow, curved accent layer (used as an overlay for the petal on the left edge) from the Black Glossy Paper too – we’ll use it as a sepal/base for the peony.
Cut a side-folded white A2 card – then trim the card front to 4-1/2″ wide. Attach the diecuts – let the right side of the peony extend 5/8″ over the edge.

Stamp the greetings – from the new With Sympathy Clear Stamps Set – on the darker pink cardstock with Nocturne. Quickly heat-emboss it with detail clear powder. Cut the cooled greetings with the 2″ and 2-1/4″ long Rectangle Basics dies. They’re the perfect size – and eliminate measuring and trimming. Attach the outer greeting with foam tape.
Add 1/4″ dots punched from the pink Delicate Pastels Glitter Pad 6×6’s. Cut an A2-sized piece of cardstock to protect the card front for mailing.

Handmade cards add extra meaning to messages of condolence, support and encouragement.
Thanks for visiting – see you again on Friday!
