Hi, Jean here with my favorite Memory Box bird – and my go-to colors.
Cut the mid-sized Cherish Heart from the lavender and white Anemone Grove 6×6 floral print. Cut pale aqua cardstock with the 2-3/4″ wide Rectangle Basics die. Cut it again – offset – with the 2-1/4″ wide Rectangle Basics die. Tape them together to create a frame background.
Cut Backyard Wren from watercolored or ink-blended paper. Color the beak with an orange marker. Color the eye area with a black marker. Assemble him – lift the wings for an upbeat effect.
Stamp the greeting – from the new With Sympathy Clear Stamps Set – on a pale blue 6×6 from the Lagoon Collection with Pearlescent Lavender Brilliance and dry the ink. Yes, I still have and love those Brilliance inkpads and their refills! Cut the greeting with the second-smallest Rectangle Basics die.
Attach the diecuts to a pale aqua card – use foam dots for the top half of the Backyard Wren and the greeting. Add 1/4-punched dots of the green Graceful Garden Glitter Pad 6×6 – punch from the reverse side for smoother edges. Cut an A2-sized piece of cardstock to protect the card front for mailing.
