Milo Mouse – from July’s Cheerful Countryside release – delivers birthday greetings to a gardening gal. He’s diecut from gray cardstock and felt for texture and dimension.
Ever feel like you’re going in circles? Take advantage of it and create a card! Hi, Jean here with a very circular design…

The sweet Milo Mouse die set has 3 die groups – the base, overlays and hat+smock. Cut the base from light gray cardstock. Cut the clothing from the green and white Brilliant Fuchsia leaf print. Color the trim and hatband with a green marker. Color the eye area of the base with a black marker. Glue a scrap of pink cardstock behind the nose cutout.
Attach adhesive label paper (or a sticker sheet) behind gray cardstock to stablilize the fabric and prevent adhesives from saturating it. Cut the overlays.
Glue 2 pieces of white cardstock together for dimension and cut it with the 3-1/2″ diameter Circle Basics die. Cut the green and pink Brilliant Fuchsia floral print with the 3-1/4″ diameter Circle Basics die. Cut pink vellum with the 2-1/2″ diameter Circle Basics die. The vellum diffuses a portion of the background, spotlights Milo and adds a pop of color.

Attach Milo to the vellum circle with doublestick tape – liquid adhesives may curl or warp vellum. Attach the diecuts to a side-folded white A-2 card – hide doublestick tape on the vellum just behind Milo so it’s not visible.
Attach a Happy Birthday Foil Greetings White Circle Tab. Add 1/4″-punched circles of the green Graceful Garden Glitter Pad 6×6. Cut an A2-sized piece of cardstock to protect the card front for mailing.
Thanks for visiting – hope you like the Cheeerful Countryside designs we’ve created for you!
