Greetings friends. Today I am sharing a floral birthday card with you using the flowers and leaves from the Garden Pail Bouquet die. I decided to skip the pail and make a card that reminds me of the wildflower garden I planted this year. i like the wild and untamed look of the flowers.
To make the card, I started with a background of the Blooming embossing folder. I use this folder all the time, and it is an absolute favorite.
Next, I cut out my leaves and stems out of various scraps of cardstock I had on hand. For the flowers, I cut them out of white cardstock and then colored them with Copic markers. I did it this way because I now have a ton of pre-cut white flowers on hand to use on future cards. I never know what color flowers I will need, so I have the option to make them any color I want.
Here is a close up of the card:

To finish the card, I added my birthday sentiment. I ended up using autumnal colors for the card, so I plan to use it for an upcoming fall birthday.
I hope you have a great Sunday!
