Hi everyone. I have a card inspired by artwork from my recent trip to Japan. It was a wall hanging in the hotel room. The beauty in the simplicity of the layout. I added a yellow butterfly that I saw in one of the gardens. I hope it brings you some of the joy I had in Japan.

Background:
Cut a piece of white card stock to 3″ x 6″ and ink blend using Distress Walnut Stain around the edges. Trim a pattern paper from th Anemone Grove pad to 2 1/2″ x 5 2/4″. Trim out a small section half way down off set the paper. Trim light yellow paper from Sunrise pad to 5 3/4″ 2 3/4″. Adhere the yellow to the brown paper, and then the pattern paper on top. Trim cream paper to 2″ x 5″ and adhere off center to the right.
Flowers:
Die cut some of the flowers and foliage from the garden Pail Bouquet from Bush, sunrise and Greenery pads. Lightly shade with Copic markers that are slightly darker then the colored paper. Adhere the folowers tougher and then to the steam.

Assembly:
Arrange and adhere the flowers and foliage on the lower portion of the cream paper. Die cut a small butterfly from the Ethereal Butterflies die set out of light yellow paper fro the Sunrise pad. Adhere to the upper right corner of the cream card. Make a mini-slimline card by cutting white card stock to 6″ x 6″. Score at the 3″ mark and fold. Adhere the background panel with the flower arrangement to the card.
