Celebrate a special birthday on an easel card with gifts, glitter and a gold crown from the new Birthday Blossoms collection! Meet birthday girl Amelia Mouse and boxes and bows from the Gifts Galore die set.
Create the easel base with the largest Notched Eyelet Frame, cut from white cardstock. Score and crease it at 3/4″ from one short end and 1″ from the other end.
The top-folded card is 5-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ – slightly narrower than an A2 – to match width of the base. Attach the 1″ folded edge to the backside of the card with doublestick tape just along the sides and top edge of the 1″ section.
Cut the gifts from the Poppystamps Birthday Fun white confetti print. Cut the bows from the light peach Blush Solid Core Cardstock 6×6 and the aqua Lagoon Solid Core Cardstock 6×6. Assemble the bows and attach the bottom halves to the 3/4″ section.
Attach adhesive label paper (or a sticker sheet) to gray wool-blend felt and cut Amelia Mouse’s head, arms and feet. The paper backing stabilizes the felt and prevents adhesives from saturating it. Cut the nose/eye layer from pink cardstock and color the eye areas with a black marker. Cut the remaining pieces from light gray cardstock.
Cut the crown and star wand from the bright gold Vintage Pastel Mirror Pad 6×6, Cut the bodice from the pink Delicate Pastel Glitter Pad 6×6. Cut the skirt from the pink Vintage Pastel 6×6.
Attach the diecuts to a 2″ wide Notched Eyelet Frame cut from white cardstock. Attach it to the card so the bottom edge is hidden behind the easel border when the card is displayed. Add 1/4″ glittered dots punched from the pink Delicate Pastel 6×6.

Here’s the inside view. Stamp the greeting – from the new Birthday Greetings Clear Stamp Set – with Pearlescent Jade Brilliance and heat-set the ink. Cut it with the smallest Notched Eyelet Frame.

Carefully fold the gift border to the inside of the card. Cut a 5-1/4″ c 4-1/4″ piece of cardstock to protect the card front for mailing.

For a different look…attach flowers instead of gifts and replace the wand with balloons for a congratulatory card. The Birthday Blossoms release is more than just a birthday collection!
