Meet Benson Mouse – dressed for the holidays – with a leafy-bright Evergreen Holly Bundle. They’re layered onto a double Fan Stitch Scalloped Arch Frame and topped off with a Merry Christmas Foil Greetings Black Tab.
Cut the 3″ wide Fan Stitch Scalloped Arch Frame from white cardstock. Cut the diecut with the 2.5″ wide die to create an inlaid background.
Cut the Evergreen Holly Bundle holly leaves from a dark green Greenery 6×6. Cut the holly sprigs and single berries from the orangey-red Festive Glitter Pad 6×6.
Attach adhesive label paper (or a sticker sheet) to gray felt to stabilize the fabric and prevent adhesives from saturating it. Cut Benson Mouse from pale gray cardstock and the felt. Cut the face “under-layer” from pink cardstock and color the eye and nose areas with a black marker.
Cut his sweater and hat from Cherry Red Paper (cardstock). Cut his scarf and the scalloped ribbing of the hat from Cranberry Paper (cardstock). Use the tail die to cut a pompom for the hat from the Festive Glitter Pad orangey-red 6×6. Assemble Benson and add his sweater and hat.
Attach the diecuts to a top-folded white A2 card – use foam dots behind the ears. Attach 3 of the holly circles as accents. Add a Merry Christmas Foil Greetings Black Circle Tab. Cut an A2-sized piece of cardstock to protect the card front for mailing.
