Hello everyone! I have a fun card for you today using scraps of patterned paper.
I cut strips of paper at different lengths and widths, then wove them together to go on my card front. I glued the woven piece to a smooshed ink background. The background was created by appyling Weathered Wood Distress Ink to a piece of accetate, misting it with water and appyling it to a white cardstock panel.

Once the background was dry, I lightly inked the edges of the cardstock panel with the same Weathered Wood Distress Ink and glued it to a navy cardstock mat. The woven piece was glued onto the background.
I die cut the Wild Leaves from vellum cardstock and applied gold ink to them.
Next I stamped the Happy birthday with embossing ink on red cardstock and gold heat embossed it. I die cut the Happy Birthday using the coordinating die and applied foam tape to adhere it to the card, The vellum die cut leaves were tucked behind the Happy Birthday and glued in place. Next I spattered the background with gold ink.
From gold metallic cardstock, I die cut stars using one of the hats from the Birthday Party Hats die set. I glued 5 stars to the card.

That’s my card for today! Happy 4th of July!
