The new Holiday Harmony collection of dies and stamps has arrived for your fall and winter designs! Great new dies – and clear stamp + die sets – are perfect for your cards, tags, layouts, treat wrappers, mixed media and decor projects.
This cute snowman+bird duo is perfect for both holiday and winter thank you cards. They’re a great pair for thoughtful friendship cards too!
Attach adhesive label paper (or a sticker sheet) to turquoise and bright red wool-blend felt. Diecut the new Snowman and Birdie Friend scarf and hat sections and the bird from the felt. The paper backing stabilizes the felt and prevents adhesives from saturating it. Cut the bird’s wing from Cherry Red cardstock.
Diecut the scarf and hat sections again from a turquoise Lagoon Solid Core Cardstock Pack 6×6. You’ll have two coordinating sets of diecuts for the scarf and hat – save the extra pieces for another project.
Cut the snowman’s eye/nose base layer from an orange Sunset Solid Core Cardstock Pack 6×6. Cut the bird’s eye/beak base layer from the orange cardstock too. Color the eye areas with a black marker.
Here’s a tip…color the snowman’s mouth area of the base layer with the black marker too. It’ll help define his mouth and be more visible through the top layer.
Cut the arms from dark kraft cardstock.
Stamp “warm wishes” from the new Christmas Wonder Clear Stamp and Die Set on heavy white cardstock with Pearlescent Jade Brilliance and quickly heat-emboss it with detail clear powder. My vintage Brilliance inkpads are 20+ years old and are still great, and “re-inkable” after many, many classes, samples and posts.
Cut the stamped cardstock with the 1.6″ Fan Stitch Scalloped Square Frame die. Cut more heavy white cardstock with the 2.2″ and 2.8″ square dies too.
Attach the squares to a white A6 card (4.5″ x 6.25″) – apply the adhesive about 1/4″ inside the edges for more dimension. Attach the snowman and bird – use foam tape for the snowman.
Diecut the 3 stars from the gold Festive Glitter Pad 6×6. Cut an A6-sized piece of cardstock to protect the card front for mailing.
