A Twinks Thank You

Hi, y'all!

I am a True Believer when it comes to Twinkling H20's, and if you've never used them, then you're missing out and I strongly recommend you get some! Can you see them shimmer in the picture below? I took the picture out in the sunlight to try to capture all its glittery goodness. In person, this card in a shimmer fest!


SUPPLIES: Memory Box cardstock, PP (from Minuet collection), cold press water color paper, Twinkling H20's, Memory Box pearl stickers, VersaFine ink, Staz-On ink, Memory Box stamps (Tree of Birds and Thank You)

STEPS: 

  1. "Paint" your watercolor paper with water. Once it's nicely wet, apply a light wash of color – blue on the top 2/3 and green on the bottom 1/3 – using Twinkling H20's ("Twinks"). Allow to dry.
  2. Stamp tree with Staz-On.
  3. Paint the image using Twinks.
  4. Once dry, adhere pearls.
  5. Mount image panel on cardstock and layer with patterned paper onto card.
  6. Stamp sentiment on white cardstock and mount on two layers of cardstock.  

Hope you give the watercolor wash a try – the effect is spectacular and so easy even Gigi can do it!
