Tags for Holiday Packages

I am teaching a tag class later this month to a group of people who have never stamped before.  I've been making up lots of quick and easy samples using some of my favorite holiday (and other) stamps from Memory Box on large white tags.  I stamped the larger background images  with Hero Arts Wet Cement Mid-Tones Shadow Ink. The other ink colors are also from the Hero Arts Mid-Tones Shadow inks collection–Raspberry Jam, Green Hills, and Cup O' Joe.  I did any additional coloring of images with Prismacolor Pencils.  Here are some of my favorites

  • G1899 Twelve Days
  • D1399 I used just the pears and branch from Partridge in a Pear Tree by maskeing the bird with a small post-it note
  • B1826 To and From

  • G1830 Winter Collage Background
  • B1826 To and From (I stamped this in the center of the image where it did not stamp completely)

  • G1839 Mail Definitions Background
  • D1396  Poinsettia Outline

  • G1780  Blank Ticket
  • D1841  Drift Flowers
  • just the bow from C1952 Mistletoe Bundle
  • B1826  To and From

  • G1899 Twelve Days
  • C1873  Vintage Merry Christmas
  • C1952  Mistletoe Bundle
  • B1826  To and From

  • G1941  Wish Collage
  • D1806  Vertical Merry Christmas
  • C1952  Mistletoe Bundle
  • B1826  To and From

Making these tags was a great way to revisit and repurpose some of the larger background stamps I have. Everyone in my class should be able to make quite a few of these in an hour or two!  Once the presents are wrapped, all one needs to do is fill in the names on the tags and attach them with coordinating ribbons to the packages.

Happy Crafting!
