Hello!
Thank you so much for stopping by today! I have a colorful spring card for you using a couple new dies. Chrysanthemum's come in a variety of colors, and I wanted to bring my favorite three of those onto my card!

I started by die cutting the Chrysanthemum Bouquet from a variety of colored card stocks, along with white, and separating, and trimming the pieces. I adhered the white base die cut onto my card front, and began inserting my color pieces with a small dot of liquid glue, and my tweezers. I know it takes a bit of time, but it is relaxing, and it beats doing housework! I am always happy with how the inlaid die cut technique looks, making all that work, worth it.

I chose to create depth within my inlaid die cut flowers, by using a light and a dark of each color, and adhering the green stem right over the white.

To finish my card, I used the Blooming Chrysanthemum die, using the butterflies, adhering them with foam tape. I added some glitter to them with a Zig Wink of Stella, and then coated them with Ranger Glossy Accents.
I hope you've enjoyed, and are inspired to create something with these new dies! They are so much fun, and there are so many things you can do with them. Have a great day!

Lindsay, this is just beautiful. I really love the bright colours you’ve inlaid. Just stunning!
Beautiful card! This would make a lovely Mother’s Day card. Great tip, to use a darker shade of paper for the center of the flower, I will use that in the future.
The little butterflies are the perfect embellishment. Thank you for sharing today.
