Welcome to day 3 of the Holiday Blog Blitz. I hope you had a chance to watch the 2016 Holiday Release video that Laura showed on her blog post Tuesday – there are so many great new dies, stamp sets and stencils!
Today I am featuring the Snowglobe Wishes stamp set and coordinating die set.
For the card, stamp the snowglobe and deer on white cardstock. Cut a mask for each of the deer and place them on the stamped deer images. Stamp the pine trees behind the deer. Before removing the masks, ink the ground image stamp with Broken China Distress ink and stamp on the bottom of the snowglobe. Remove the masks and color the images.
Die cut the snowglobe with the coordinating die and stencil the kraft cardstock with embossing paste using the new Scattered Snowflake stencil. Once it is dry, adhere the background to a white card base. Using green cardstock, die cut the pine branches twice. Stamp the sentiment on a strip of white cardstock and adhere red bling on each end.
I turned the snowglobe into an ornament by adding a piece of twine to the back of the snowglobe. You can glue an embellishment to the top of the snowglobe as ornament topper and assemble the card as shown.

Wow, this card is wonderful! All the little details you have incorporated into this, really makes me stop dead in my tracks. The white paste snowflakes on the kraft paper are stunning, and they augment the snow globe well. Dave’s animals are just the perfect amount of adorable – cute, but not cutesy.
