Whimsy Cat, Stitched Farm Pumpkins and Cat Tail Sunrise by Jean Okimoto

Meet the new Whimsy Cat, Stitched Farm Pumpkins and Cat Tail Sunrise (as the full moon here) – from our newest Halloween Collection!  Also used – but mostly hidden, is the negative portion cut with the new Curved Stitch Hilltops die.  Hello – Jean Okimoto here – welcome to the Day 3 of our Blog Blitz.

We can’t wait to share our projects with you – and hope you’ll be inspired to use these great new designs for some cool and colorful Halloween cards.    Join us for some spooky creativity – and a chance to win a die from each designer’s post.

Cut Cat Tail Sunrise from dark kraft cardstock and trim the ends.   Cut the bottom with the long die from the Curved Stitch Hilltops set.

Attach Scor-Tape to white vellum and cut it with the 1-1/2″ Circle Basics Die.

Cut the 3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″ Wrapped Stitch Rectangle from half of a Persimmon Notecard.  I love this bright new addition to our notecards collection.  It almost glows – it’s sure to be noticed!

Cut Whimsy Cat from black cardstock – save the eyes.  Tape the eyes back in place to create a level surface to attach the googley eyes.  Attach the googley eyes. Glue a scrap from a Persimmon Notecard behind the nose.

Cut Stitched Farm Pumpkins from Licorice Dots and textured white cardstock.

Attach the diecuts to a Persimmon Notecard.  Give your card a few shakes and enjoy the weird and funny expressions on Whimsy Cat’s face!

Add your comment to each of our Blog Blitz posts – from September 18th thru 22nd – for a random selection chance to win a new product from our latest release.  I’ve chosen the great Whimsy Cat as the prize you could win from this post.  The entry deadline is 11:59 PM EST on Sunday September 24th.  Hope you’re a winner!

Big thanks to everyone from last weekend’s Calendar Express class at Impress!  Would you believe we used more than 55 diecuts (I stopped counting at 55) on our calendars?  We did – and the yummy Whimsy Cat Cupcakes designed by the Tukwila team kept us going!  Impress is ready for Halloween…are you?

Taking a short break from classes – and I’ll see everyone again at BOO! class on October 14th.  We’ll make 5 cards and a bright little treat wrapper for your favorite tricksters.

Thanks for stopping by – Donna’s posting another of her great designs this afternoon.  Be sure to comment on her post too!
