Drifting Butterfly
by Penny Ward

Hello Memory Box fans. Penny here today. All these new dies in my craft room and I selected to use a butterfly and some pretty papers. I just couldn’t help myself….I mean really, how beautiful is that Drifting Side Butterfly?!?   So………Change the color scheme and the sentiment and you have a lovely Valentine’s Day card.  🙂

Let’s go:

Start with a Coral cardstock base.

On the pretty paper from Birch Press Designs, I stitched across the lower part of the panel with Black thread. I then added a couple of scoring lines with a Scoring Board.

The focal point of the card is the gorgeous Drifting Side Butterfly also die cut from Coral cardstock. I adhered just the body of the Butterfly so her wings were free to fly with the bit of Spectrum Noir Sparkle I added. The butterfly needed just a little something, something, so I colored the body with a Black pen.

Sentiment from the Wireworks Heart stamp set using VersaFine Onyx Black ink.

Happy Crafting,
