Flowers from the Graceful Jellyfish by Jean Okimoto

Flip Graceful Jellyfish upside-down and they can be Vibrant Violet flowers – with a bit of determination and a lot of imagination.  Hi, Jean Okimoto here with another way to get the most from your Memory Box dies – and a glittered Poppystamps Grosgrain Bow.

Cut the detailed Graceful Jellyfish overlays from six shades of Vibrant Violet 6×6 cardstock.  Cut the tops of 2 big and 1 small Seed Stems from black cardstock.  Trim them and attach them between two layers of the jellyfish overlay diecuts.

Cut Vertical Line Collage from black cardstock – we’re using 3 of the offcut strips for stems here.  Attach them to the flowers.

Cut the largest Wrapped Stitched Slim Rectangle from white cardstock.  Cut the rectangle with Vertical Line Collage.  Cut a 1-⅜” wide strip of the lightest gray from the 6×6 Earth Neutral Collection.  Attach it behind the collage.  Attach the rectangle to a white slimline card (3-⅝” x 8-⅝”).

Cut the Poppystamps Grosgrain Bow from the fuchsia Twinkling Jewel Glitter Pad 6×6 sheet.  Attach the diecuts to the card – use foamtape for the shortest flower.  Add ¼” dots punched from the silver Holiday Glitter Pad sheet.

We’ll use the Graceful Jellyfish as actual jellyfish in a future post.  I thought I’d share today’s card first, for anyone looking for a just-in-time design for Mother’s Day.

Thanks for visiting – see you next week!
