Turn the embossed Waves 3D design sideways and build a wavy seagrass background for the Deep Sea Octopus. The irregular offcut from the End of My Rope die set creates a watery background for another Under the Sea design. Freeform shapes, a peachy octopus and blue seagrass can add a summery look to everyday greetings. Hi, Jean Okimoto here with another way to use the popular Waves 3D Embossing Folder – horizontally and embossed with iridescent glitter.

Cut a turquoise 6×6 sheet from the Fresh Aqua Collection with the large End of My Rope die. Save the rope frame for another project – we’re using the offcut here. Brayer VersaMark onto the top section of the Waves 3D Embossing Folder. Pressure-emboss the offcut with the VersaMark-ed embossing folder using the plate(s) required for your machine.
Heat-emboss the offcut with Imagine’s Iridescent powder for clear, sparkly highlights.
Splatter specks of Imagine’s Gold Sheer Shimmer Spritz on the right edge of a natural A6 card (4-½” x 6-¼”). Set it aside to dry.
Cut Deep Sea Octopus from a dark pink/coral 6×6 sheet in the Berry Red Collection. Attach a scrap of black cardstock behind the eye cutout.
Stamp the greeting – from the Big and Little Reverse Words Clear Stamp and Die Set – on natural cardstock with Warm Breeze VersaFine Clair. Trim it with the coordinating die.
Assemble the card and add some adhesive jewels to the areas of the background that weren’t Versa-Marked. Add a jewel to the greeting too.

Thanks for visiting…have a great weekend!
