It’s a little early for butterflies – but the new Exquisite Butterflies are hard to resist. Here they are again, on a simple design for anyone on your birthday list. They’re cut from solid-core Lagoon Collection 110# cardstock and a pale aqua sheet from the Vintage Pastel Mirror Pad. Both 6×6 sets clearly highlight the details of these great butterflies. Hi, Jean here with a mix of shapes, sizes, mattes, metallics – and plaid!

Cut Exquisite Butterflies from the aqua Vintage Pastel 6×6 and the teal Lagoon Collection 6×6. Save the extras for other projects.
Cut the turquoise Anemone Plaid 6×6 with the 2-½” wide Nested Globes die.
I found a matching scrap of watercolored cardstock in my “save for later” stash and sprayed it with Imagine’s Gold Sheer Shimmer Spritz. Air-dry it for a few minutes, then heat-set it. Cut it with the Nested Globes die too.

Attach the diecuts to a top-folded white A2 card – use foam dots for the right halves of the whole butterflies and the upper section of the half-butterfly.
Select the perfect greeting typeface for the birthday person – the Happy Birthday Circle Greetings White Tabs include 36 tabs, 4 each of 10 styles.
Add turquoise Christmas Fairy Dewdrops. Cut an A2-sized piece of cardstock to protect the card front for mailing.
There’s a lot happening on this card…but most of the work is done for you! Take advantage of the color-coordinated plaids, 6×6 solid-core color collections and mirror cardstock pads and create a stash of birthday cards in a rainbow of colors.
Thanks for visiting…see you again on Friday!
