
Greetings friends. I wanted to share a sympathy card with you today. It might not be the happiest card to share on a weekend, but sympathy cards are often hard to make. I recommend having a few on hand so that you aren’t making a card when you suddenly need a sympathy card.
To make this design, I first sponged a 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece of white cardstock with four colors of Distress Oxide Ink:

Next, I lightly spritzed the paper with water to give the paper a mottled look:

I stamped my wildflowers onto the background using black Versafine ink and then added a frame I made using two sizes of the Heritage Rectangle Frame die set:

The last step was to add a sympathy sentiment that I stamped onto a white circle. I trimmed the bottom off of the circle so that it would be flush with the frame.
