Fill the Woven Flower Basket with garden bloomers for a calendar page, or a card. Our record high temps, record lows, sunshine and rainstorms create a summer garden for inspiration. The crisp white cardstock calendar page is from sharincraftestudio.com. 2027 calendars are available now.

The texture of today’s Woven Flower Basket is pressure-embossed instead of diecut. Cut the solid basket, handle and decorative top band from pale yellow/green cardstock. Spritz the basket diecut with a light mist of water and pressure-emboss it using the rubber mat and plate(s) required for your machine. I shortened the handle a bit, for a more compact look.
Cut the blossoms and centers from dark orange, light orange and yellow Sunrise Solid Core Cardstock 6×6’s. Cut the leaves and more centers from dark and light green 6×6’s in the Greenery Solid Core Cardstock pack.
Assemble the basket and adhere just the bottom and sides to the calendar – leave the top edge open for the flowers and leaves.

Assemble the flowers. Attach the flowers and leaves to the calendar. I like to arrange the flowers by color for an even distribution of color – instead of attaching them by section.
Cut a scrap of the green Festive Glitter Pad 6×6 with the die for the center circles. Attach 3 of them to the calendar for a sparkly pop of color.
