Sweet Bay Collage on a Garland Background by Jean Okimoto

The new Sweet Bay Collage creates the perfect window for a floral background from the Garland 6×6 print.  Stitched bold Vintage Varsity Alphabets match the slender Double Stitch Happy Heart Cut Out.  Add sparkle with glittered diecuts and punched circles.  Hi, Jean Okimoto here with a slimline design for Valentine’s Day – or any day.

Trim white cardstock to 8-½” x 10-⅞”.  Score it at 3-⅝” and 7-¼” for the front and back panels.  The remaining panel will be folded to the inside later to cover the back of the collage.

1Cut the center panel with Sweet Bay Collage – keep the two small leaf offcuts.

Cut the Garland floral print with the 3″ Circle Basics die.  Tape it behind the Sweet Bay Collage.  Fold and adhere the third panel. Attach the two small white leaf offcuts.  Cut the two leaves again from the pale peach Delicate Pastels glitter sheet.  Attach them over the small white leaf offcuts.

Cut L, V and E from pale peach cardstock with the Vintage Varsity Alphabet.  Cut the second-smallest heart from the Double Stitch Happy Heart Cut Out.  Cut the center out with the smallest die from the heart set and replace it with a pale peach glittered heart.

Attach the diecuts to a white slimline card (3-⅝” x 8-½”).

Punch ¼” dots from the lime green Twinkling Jewel Glitter Pad 6×6 sheet.

Brighten a winter day with floral prints from the Garden Folly, Springtime Bouquet and Garland 6×6 prints.  Coordinate them with their matching Stripes and Dots 6×6 packs.  They’re great for holiday thank-yous, Valentine and birthday cards .

Thanks for visiting…see you on Thursday!
