Greetings friends. The new release of products has me in a nautical frame of mind. I chose to use the new fish 3D embossing folder, and although you can get great results using the coordinating dies and stencils, I wanted to show you it is also a great folder on its own.
As with any 3D folder, it is a good idea to spritz your paper lightly with water before running it through the die cut machine. You get such incredible detail from the folder:
After I embossed my fish, I cut out out an anchor and rope frame to add to the card. The “You Anchor Me” stamp/die set included both the sentiment I chose and the anchor die. To add a bit of dimension, I popped the anchor up with some foam tape and added some neutral twine.
