Greetings friends. The new collection might be called “Christmas Charm,” but that doesn’t mean it is just for the holidays. I used dies from the latest collection to make this fun fall card.
I used the sweet Benson Mouse die for this card. I cut out leaves and Benson’s sweater using paper from the Nutmeg Plaid 6″ x 6″ paper pack. That paper pack is really great for fall cardmaking.
For the background, I diecut trees in various shades of brown. The Gathered Tree Trunks work well with the new Scalloped Arches.
For the background and hill, I cut out an arch twice from cream woodgrain cardstock. For the ground, I cut off the bottom area of the arch (freehand curve cut) and added some Vintage Photo Distress ink to make it a brown color. Here is a close up of the card so that you can see the texture of the woodgrain paper a bit better:

For finishing details, I added some Copic marker to the ears and cheeks and added white gel pen to the centers of the eyes and the top of the scarf.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
