Greetings friends. I am back this weekend with another card. I hadn’t used this little mouse die yet, and I felt compelled to use him. I am a sucker for an animal wearing a hat, but I think a crown is even better.
I chose to add sunflowers because the card is designed for a specific friend in mind, and sunflowers are her favorite. To make the card, I die cut my pieces out of various shades of cardstock and then edged pieces of the die cuts with Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain Distress Oxide inks to get a bit more dimension.
I feel like that Pinpoint Flower plate adds extra interest and texture, so I used it for the background of the card. Here is a closeup of the cute little mouse with his crown:
