Greetings friends. The new magnolia line of products is here, and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it. For my card today, I paired one of the new 3D embossing folders with some rub ons to highlight pieces of the card.
I started by embossing my white cardstock. Remember to lightly mist your paper first to help prevent cracking:
Next, I cut out some flower blanks that came with the embossing folder and used some rub ons to color them. For this card, I cut out my flowers first and then added some rub ons. Next time I am going to first add rub ons to paper and then cut them out with dies. I want to see which method I prefer:
I added my flowers onto the embossed background and added my die cut sentiment. Of course, I had to add some of the new beautiful 6″ x 6″ papers in the background. I love papers that are already coordinated for me!
