Merry Christmas, Simply Stated by Jean Okimoto

Greet the season with sparkly swirls, pearly red berries and a gold-foiled greeting tab from our latest release.  Hi, Jean here with a basic holiday design to create in your favorite colors  – winter pastels, jewel tones or classic reds and greens.

Cut Pine Berry Branch from a medium green cardstock in the Greenery 6×6 set.  Cut another branch tip to layer.  Cut the berries from the orange/red Rainbow Reflections 6×6.

Cut the Decorative Ornament circle from light green cardstock in the Greenery set.  Spritz it with a light mist of water, then pressure-emboss it with the swirl die using the rubber embossing mat and plate(s) required for your machine.  The debossed design adds dimension and makes it easy to attach the glittered layer.  Cut the swirl from a yellow/green Graceful Garden Glitter Pad 6×6.

Cut the ornament cap and string from a gold Rainbow Reflections 6×6.  Crease a string backwards at 1-1/8” and hook it under the loop on the cap.  Trim the “back” end slightly shorter than 1-1/8” and glue the layers together.  Your ornament is ready to go!

Cut white cardstock with the A2-sized Wrapped Stitch Rectangle.  Attach it to a top-folded white A2 card and attach the diecuts. Add the berries.  Attach a Merry Christmas Black Foiled Greeting Tab.  Cut an A2-sized piece of cardstock to protect the card front for mailing.

Thanks for visiting our blog…create this in your favorite combination of Memory Box 6×6 or 8.5×11 cardstock colors, glitter pads and mirror cardstock!
