Good morning everyone! Today I have a fun Spring themed card for you!
I started by creating a background for the card by ink blending on white cardstock using Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide ink. I also used the same color ink to stencil dots on the background using the new Polkadot Stencil set and then spattered it with gold ink. Next, I trimmed the background to the desired size and die cut it using the new Pinpoint Flower Plate. I glued the background to a gold metallic mat and used foam tape to adhere it to a white card base.
All the die cuts were cut from white cardstock and colored with the following Distress Inks. Leaves: Twisted Citron and Peeled Paint, Flowers: Squeezed Lemonade, Carved Pumpkin, Umbrella: Squeezed Lemonade, Mustard Seed and Vintage Photo, Mouse: Hickory Smoke, Lost Shadow, Mouse Dress: Picked Raspberry. I also die cut a few leaves from Vellum to fill in the flower arrangement.
I assembled the umbrella and used foam adhesive to adhere it to the background. Next, I tucked the assembled mouse in place with foam adhesive and filled in around her with the flowers and leaves.

To finish the card I added gold embellishments to the flower centers and glued a foil strip to the card.
I hope you enjoy today’s card! Thanks for stopping by!
