Dahlia Stems, the beautiful 6X6 Cling stamp from the new Birthday Blossoms Release, is large enough to create two mini-slimline cards if you’re brave enough to cut the design apart. After stamping it on white cardstock and coloring it with the accompanying stencil, I did just that, and I’m quite happy with the results.

Once I had the two panels trimmed down, I used cardstock from the Blush and Greenery cardstock packs to cut narrow frames. I then created two mini slimline cards (cut a 7” X 4 7/8” piece of cardstock and fold at 3 1/2”.)

Then it was time to choose sentiments for both. For the first card I stamped and embossed a sentiment from the new Happy Birthday Greetings stamp set on a strip of vellum and wrapped it around the floral panel before adding the floral panels and frames for both cards to the card bases. For the second card, I added a Happy Birthday Foil Greetings Black Circle to the card.

I decided the cards could use a little glitter, and added some with a clear glitter pen to each of the flower centers. Since there was more white space on the first card, I added some clear Fairy Drops for some embellishment.

Thanks for stopping by!
