Greetings friends. I wanted to share a birthday card with you today that uses the Woven Flower Basket die. It is a fairly straight forward card that combines a lot of colors and textures.
To make the card, I first used the Pinpoint Flower Plate to add a pattern to the paper behind the basket.
Next, I cut out the basket using brown cardstock and the flowers out of white cardstock. I then colored the various petals and leaves with Copic markers to choose the colors I wanted in the basket. I think my finished colors were more of a summer palette than a spring palette.
I then assembled all of my flowers and leaves and added a birthday tag with natural twine.

For the side of the card, I scored the paper every 1/8″ of an inch and added some epoxy circle stickers for decoration.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
